We were recently going on a little Mini Break to see the very famous Cobbles at Coronation Street for Daughters Layla’s 1st Birthday. I currently have the Bugaboo Cameleon3 which cost me an absolute BOMB (well over £1,000). Since our little mini trip was travelling by National Holidays Coach I decided that with it being a two-piece fold and also the expense of it, i know i would of cried like a baby if it got marked or scratched… I like to look after my things and i just hate getting scratches on anything if i can of course help it (I bet I’m not the only one! lol)
Anyways i just needed something that was quick folding, Large enough to accommodate a toddler, comfortable to push, easy to recline for Layla’s day time naps, good sun coverage swell as of course a rain cover… Those are just essential in the lovely British weather. I also needed something with a half decent basket that i could squeeze my Pink Lining changing bag into and of course my Nikon DSLR camera/Bag.
I headed straight to the internet like you do and this is what i found!

EDIT: It seems that Argos, no longer sell this particular model/style anymore… But i have tracked the M&P Swirl via Amazon and you can find the link Here: Mamas and Papas Swirl Pushchair Package – Pink (991426777)
This is the Mamas & Papas Swirl Pushchair in Argos for £64.99, not only was it just a Pushchair but it was indeed a Full Inclusive Package that included, Cosytoes, Raincover and a Parasol!!! for £64.99!!! I mean thats just Bonkers!!! Ive seen cosy toes sell for more than £64.99 just on their own. To be honest i must say i did think hmmm, its gotta be that price for a Reason… Its surely got to be rubbish or poor quality… or just generally crap.
I purchased it anyways, I thought you know what, if it just does us for our mini breaks away with National Holidays (we go on about 5-6 a year), then it will be money well spent.

So i totally admit i was a little weary that it was too good to be true, I mean its not like everyday you can find a pushchair for under £100 never mind a pushchair that comes with the matching accessories that you actually need to use one. So obviously i purchased one, thinking well its worth a try. I got to the counter and the Sales Assistant gave me a £5.00 voucher because at the minute (21/04/2014) Argos have a promotion on, that if you spend £50 you get a £5 voucher or if you spend £100 you get £10.00! So that made it even better!

I took the Pushchair home and i couldn’t wait to whip it out the box, everything was more or less pre-assembled, all I had to do was attach the hood and the front wheels which all just popped on and in. literally 2 minutes later and without even having to refer to the Instructions that was in the box the pushchair was up and I had the cosytoes on.

I was very pleasantly surprised to find that on my 1st Inspection it feels really solid!!! It’s also a nice height (I’m 5ft 6″) its at a lovely height with soft foam for a super grip. The Basket is HUGE and its really easy to access. Large seating area that can be reclined into lots of positions as it uses an adjustable pull cord and the footrest is adjustable too. Very easy to fold with just one foot and it does have a lock that you clip on once folded so that it doesn’t just ping open.
We took the Pushchair to Coronation street with us and I already had a Mamas & Papas Plum Petal Liner from the Mamas & Papas Sola I had before, so I added that to the seat and it matched in very well!. I didn’t take the cosytoes as it was very sunny, so of course I took the parasol and it gave Layla great coverage and protected her from the sun. It felt soo easy to push and it was even easy to push over those famous Cobbles!
I would highly recommend this to anyone!!! I was abit weary about its quality due to the price tag, but that was very silly of me to judge a book by its cover..
Its Fantastic, Value for money and worth every penny.
Looks like a real bargain, and I love the liner too. Thanks for linking up with #TriedTested
This does look like amazingly good value! And it looks so comfortable – a great buy!
Wow a real bargain and who doesn’t love a new pushchair 🙂 #TriedTested
I’d have been really wary of the quality at that price too! Glad to know it was worth the risk 🙂
Thanks for linking up with #TriedTested
That looks fab! A bargain price too 🙂 x
What a pretty pushchair, lovely colour. I love the liner in the top photo x
I would be wary with a low price tag too, but this looks awesome! x x x
That looks an absolute bargain, I didn’t even know you could get pushchairs for under £100 let alone a M&P one! x
gosh what a really reasonable price honey i love the pink x #TriedTested
This looks great – especially for the price! We’ve just bought a stroller from Kiddicare but if I hadn’t just got that one I’d definitely consider this one.
thanks for linking up #parentingpinitparty
It is very good test for this stroller.Mamas Papas swirl is a cheap bargain and looks so comfortable.
I bought this pram for my 5 month old, currently taking it back, the weight of my little girl buckles the back wheels and she is nowhere near the weight limit, would not advise to buy, I thought I was getting a good deal but definitely not, your wasting your time to only go take it back, the colour is bright and it looks good but the brolly doesn’t stay up, would never recommend
