Phone Charging Holder – from a Plastic Johnsons Bottle

iphone charging holder made from a johnsons baby lotion bottle

I hate leads with a passion!, they seem to get everywhere and always end up tangled by themselves which is a complete mystery!Β So I decided to make a Phone Charging Holder, that I could pop my phone and lead into whilst it charged up. But also leave the lead in the holder so I know exactly where it is and so I don’t end up sucking it up the Hoover (Again!) hehe

What better way than to re-use a empty Plastic Bottles!?

This is how to do it:

  1. Grab your empty plastic bottle. I found a Johnsons Baby Bedtime Bath Bottle to be the perfect size for my iPhone 4. Rinse it out and make sure the inside is nice and clean.
  2. Using a Marker, I used a Sharpie Marker Pen, draw a straight line about half way across the front of the bottle horizontally and then draw a arch type shape (this is where is will be held up whilst your phone is charging up).
  3. Cut out your drawn on lines and cut out a hole through the back part, that will allow it to pop over your charger plug.

And there you go!… Simple, easy and so cheap to do! Took about 30minutes to do. You could if you wish jazz up your Phone Holder more, maybes glue on fabric, ribbons, glitter even paint it to suit your home dΓ©cor.

What do you think? Fancy giving it a go?

Thank you :)… Oh it does my head in! and plus my boys end up moving the apple leads EVERYWHERE as we also have a iPad, so I can never find my iPhone lead. This has certainly helped a lot as there under strict instructions that its not to be messed with! lol πŸ™‚ x

I’ve seen this on Pintrest but always thought it was one of those things that wouldn’t actually work in real life! Genius! x

Great Idea! I’ve bought mobile holders in the past, I won’t wast my money again, I have a bottle handy already (well, when it’s empty) #PoCoLo
