oooo week 6, feel pretty chuffed with my little self, that Im still taking part in the Project 365… I did think that I would find it difficult to take a picture every day for the rest of this year… but ive been finding it hard to pick out my best everyday as I tend to take a lot of pictures! :).. I suppose more is a good thing.
02.02.14 – Over the winter/Christmas we have been building a Conservatory. Its took its time though as the weather hasn’t exactly been very good, so it has dragged on abit. But today we have successfully managed to get the last roof panel in. Here is Lee up on the ladders “Grafting” haha.
03.02.14 – Here’s Daulton my oldest playing one of his much loved Monopoly Games. He has quite a few different Monopoly’s but this one where you use the Ipad as part of the game, is his favourite. Although were all pretty fed up of playing the same game! lol
04.02.14 – I made Layla a Hood Fur Trim for her hood!… I love the look of the Stokke Fur winterkits, unfortunately they not available for the Bugaboo Cameleon. I think she likes it, it also trims down the space at the front of the hood, keeping out the horrible wind.
05.02.14 – We went out shopping with Nana today and Layla as per usual fell asleep in her Bugaboo! I wish I could snuggle in there haha
06.02.14 – Another Day and another Shopping Trip. We went to Matalan and I found this Grey Slate Plaque with some very interesting and of course true, Toilet Rules! for £3.00 I just had to get it!
07.02.14 – Ive been missing sewing recently, i feel like I haven’t sewed anything, well apart from taking up/repairing the boys School Trousers… So I decided to make my own Teddy Bear, well not for me but for Layla… I got the pattern online and used some fabric out of my stash. It just needs some eyes and maybes some girly bows. Not bad for my 1st attempt. Im going to make her a memory bear from her baby clothes, that’s if I can bring myself to cutting them out :/
08.02.14 – This week I decided to stop breastfeeding Layla… It was a very hard choice to make, but one I felt unfortunately had to be made :(. She Turned me into a Mombie! Layla was using me as a sleeping tool as she doesnt have a dummy and so would wake every hour! she never woke like that when she was newborn… Now shes on the bottles and she sleeps all night 7pm-7am and she even has a good nap during the day. Here she is sleeping today after having a bottle 🙂
So its been a totally random and fairly boring week… Hows your week been?
I love love love the fur hood trim, you are very clever! #project365
Thank you, ive always loved the Fur trim on the Stokke’s, but I don’t like the pram itself lol… this is the next best thing 🙂 x
well done on completing the conservatory. Love the fur you have added to the buggy and she look very cute sleeping in there. Shame about the breast feeding but as you say it was a hard decision that had to be made.
It was a very sad day… but 9 months of sleepless nights on my own (Obviously OH couldn’t breastfeed her) and with her waking every hour also.. It was taking its toll, felt like I had a mini meltdown. I feel gutted, but it had to be done to save my sanity 🙂 x
Love the fur trim, so snuggly and those toilet rules are a bargain at 3.00 and so funny
hehe… I love them! 🙂
Nothing more beautiful than a sleeping baby. What a lovely bear you made!
They soooo lovely when asleep hehe
Love your teddy bear – and the toilet sign makes me laugh 🙂
Thank you… Its a Fab sign!!! The kids didn’t realise it was there until there came home from school and ran upstairs to go to the toilet hehehe… there thought it was hilarious! 🙂
Thank you 🙂 x
Love the fur hood and teddy. She’s a gorgeous girl x
Thank you 🙂 x
I have a Layla too, so cute!!
Layla has to be the best Name EVER hehe 🙂
Always tough to make that decision to stop breastfeeding. Hope you’re feeling ok? Lovely pics of a sleeping baby this week 🙂 My son would love that monopoly game!
It was the most hardest decision I’ve had to make, but due to her being solely breast-fed she relied on me and me only. But for months shes woken up everyhour every night, and it got to the point where I felt like I had a mini meltdown. So with the encouragement of my OH we decided now was the time to give her a bottle. I feel like a completely different woman! 🙂 My oldest absolutely loves Monopoly, if he could buy every monopoly edition there is, he would! 🙂
I need those toilet rules, and I have a girl!
haha… The boys find it very funny 🙂
Loving the snuggly baby photos! #project365
Thank you x
Love the fur hood trim!
We have those toilet rules too lol!
And the teddy is sooo cute 🙂 x
hehe there fab aren’t they?… and Thankyou 🙂 x
It’s tough stopping breastfeeding but 12 hours sleep is not to be sniffed at. Hope you’re alright with it. How awesome to have a conservatory 🙂
Toughest decision ive had to make to be honest… but one that needed to happen. I feel like a whole new woman having sleep! lol. I cant wait till the conservatory is finished, it was suppose to be my craft room, but the kids have claimed it! as a games room 🙁
loving the fur hood trim arent you clever! i am also loving your toilet sign! lol x
thank you :)…
Such sweet photos of Layla sleeping. Great teddy bear – it’s been so long since I’ve used my machine (which is still in storage in UK so not a lot of good at the moment)
aww I love sewing, I find it very therapeutic 🙂
Love the bear, how clever – I can’t sew at all 🙂
thank you 🙂 x
Lovely photos! Love the teddy. Stopping breastfeeding is always hard. I had that decision decided for me this time so wasn’t so bad (had issues with my gallbladder). Hugs x
awwww no :(, in a way I wish she decided i.e out of my control.. so I didn’t feel so guilty.. but what can you do.. whats done is done. Im still very proud we nearly made 10 months 🙂 x
Lovely photos and I love that teddy bear!
Adore your pram – especially with the fluffy hood. Hope your conservatory is water tight xx
Your children are beautiful, I love the bear, can I have one Everton Blue for son 😉
Ooh I love the teddy bear, well done!
thank you 🙂 x
Hi, really love the fur hood you have made for your bugaboo, your gorgeous girl looks very pleased with it also. Do you have any information on how to make one of these, would be perfect for my maclaren juicy couture stroller after it had an unfortunate accident in the washing machine and now had a rip just below the seam.
Thank you in advance.
